Driver (Part-time)

Description Part-Time Driver – Water's Edge of Lake Wales Water's Edge of Lake Wales is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a warm and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Part-Time Driver to join our team, ensuring our residents have safe and comfortable transportation to various appointments and activities.

This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on our residents' daily lives while working in a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled activities
• Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from vehicles as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, including regular inspections and reporting any issues
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety at all times
• Maintain accurate records of trips and mileage
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management to coordinate transportation needs Skills and Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Prior experience in transportation, caregiving, or a related field preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle residents with compassion and patience
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some weekends
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
