• Benefits (ks.gov) Internal applicants to be considered first. This position is responsible for the case management supervision of adult probation offenders. Job Duties: Completes risk/needs assessments, prepares case plans, completes log notes, and attends court hearings. Submits affidavits and reports to the Court and may be asked to appear to testify in court proceedings. Required education and experience: Bachelor’s degree with preference given to degrees in a social services field. Great attention to detail and strong written/oral communication skills. Strong computer skills. Ability to work both independently and with a team.

Preferred qualifications

One-year of experience in the field of criminal justice with preference given to experience relating directly to probation supervision. Risk needs assessment (LS/CMI and/or WRNA) certification is plus. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and multi-task is important. Other: Successful candidate must be able to pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check.
