Job description

· Understand product requirements and assist in creating hardware design specifications.

  • Design and develop analog and digital circuits for embedded systems.
  • Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and Bill of Materials (BoM).
  • Perform component selection, cost optimization, and provide prototype support.
  • Work closely with PCB designers for layout finalization and ensure design compliance.
  • Coordinate with firmware engineers for smooth hardware–software integration.
  • Conduct hardware testing, validation, and debugging to ensure product reliability.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and transition from prototype to production.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience in schematic design, simulation, and interface analysis.
  • Working knowledge of PCB design tools (e.g., OrCAD, Altium, PADS, etc.).
  • Experience in microcontroller-based hardware design.
  • Hands-on experience with lab tools such as DSO, Signal Generator, Logic Analyzer.
  • Knowledge of peripheral interfacing: UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, etc.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic understanding of EMI/EMC considerations.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to SMPS and DC-DC power supply design.
  • Experience with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LORA.
  • Knowledge of high-speed hardware design (added advantage).
  • Experience in prototype development and manufacturing support.
