Full-Time Para-Professional

The elementary paraprofessional supports classroom teachers in providing a safe, positive, and effective learning environment for all students. This role is flexible and may include assisting multiple grade levels, supporting student needs, and helping with general school operations. Paraprofessionals play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of students.

Your responsibilities

Assisting in Instruction: Supporting teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Providing one-on-one assistance to students who require extra help. Assisting in multiple classrooms or grade levels as needed Behavioral Support: Assisting in managing and addressing challenging behaviors. Implementing behavior intervention plans as necessary.

Collaboration: Working closely with regular education teachers and other professionals. Attending and participating in team meetings to discuss student progress. Assisting in mul Lunch/Recess Support: Supervision in the cafeteria during lunch time or at lunch recess. Additional Duties: Help with school events, field trips, and special activities Provide basic clerical support (copies, organizing materials, etc.)

Step in to support where needed to ensure smooth daily operations This position may include supervising a non-instructional special (e.g., library/media) in alignment with school needs.
