Permanent Building Substitute for 2026-2027 School Year

District #37 is now accepting applications for permanent building guest (substitute) teachers. Applicants must hold either a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL or ELS), an Illinois Substitute License (SUB), or a Short Term Substitute License (STS). Permanent building substitutes report to the same building every day, and fill in any open position as assigned.

Permanent building subs work on all student attendance days. Pay rate is $135/day, and earnings are TRS reportable. 5 paid sick days are offered in the first semester, and 5 paid sick days in the second semester. This position is exempt under FLSA.
