Coordinator (Metallurgical), Chrome

In this role you will be responsible for:

Maintaining and adhering to the Mine Health and Safety Act.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Plant Superintendent.

Coordinate the team of production employees.

Coordinate daily production activities including performance targets such as volumes, availability, and utilizations.

Ensuring that plant saleable are produced according to required quality specification.

Coordinate daily dispatch and logistics.

Ensure compliance to all applicable safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Perform general administration duties and/ other duties required.

Effective Implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Perform Standby duties.

About you

National Diploma in Extractive Metallurgical/ Chemical engineering

Medically fit to work on surface.

Good knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and relevant legislation

Knowledge and experience in mineral processing and heavy minerals separation, especially in chrome beneficiation process.

A minimum of four (4) years’ chrome plant experience (especially on crushing and screening, gravity concentration, and heavy medium separation (HMS))

Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both orally and writing.

Knowledge of the mining process, standards, procedures, safety, and legal requirements

Computer Literate (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
