Job Summary

Ensure that students have a safe and effective learning experience while the regular teacher is absent.

Responsibilities include

Keeping students engaged and on task Implementing the lesson plans left by the regular teacher Ensuring the classroom is a safe and positive place for learning Leaving notes and feedback for the regular teacher Completing any assigned tasks outside of the classroom Requirements / Qualifications Complete application, cover letter and resume.

Fingerprint and TB clearance completed prior to employment. Valid California Teaching Credential, Substitute Teaching Permit, or out of state equivalent. *The District Office is able to assist applicants (with a bachelor degree or higher) in the process of obtaining an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
