Intake Engagement Worker

The Intake & Engagement Worker is a key frontline member of the Safer Pathways Initiative, a collaborative partnership between YWCA Calgary, Calgary Police Services (CPS), and Fear. IsNot. Love (FINL). This position is responsible for responding to referrals, engaging individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, and providing trauma-informed support to promote safety, stability, and connection to resources.

Through assessment, safety planning, crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, and systems navigation, the Intake & Engagement Worker supports participants in identifying their goals, addressing immediate concerns and accessing services that meet their unique needs.
