Sleep Technician

• The Sleep Technician at DOCS MEDICAL GROUP is responsible for conducting sleep studies and ensuring accurate data collection to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and calibrate equipment required for sleep studies.
• Monitor patients during sleep studies and document observations.
• Analyze and score sleep study results for physician review.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Provide patient education on sleep disorders and study procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited sleep technology program preferred. Required Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sleep lab or related healthcare setting.
• Experience with polysomnography equipment and patient monitoring.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in conducting sleep studies and interpreting results.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
