Junior Data Scientist

Our Data Science team is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to help build and improve the models at the core of Mize’s travel data platform. What you’ll do: Develop and improve ML models Build LLM-based pipelines for data enrichment, validation and quality checks Analyze large datasets to find patterns, data-quality issues and opportunities for business impact Design experiments, define metrics and evaluate model performance in production Turn findings into clear insights and recommendations for technical and business stakeholders

Requirements

M.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a related quantitative field 1–2 years of hands-on data science experience (industry, research, or strong academic/personal projects) Strong Python skills, including pandas, Num. Py and scikit-learn Solid SQL skills Good grasp of ML fundamentals: supervised learning, feature engineering, evaluation metrics and validation Strong analytical thinking and a pragmatic approach to solving problems Able to work independently and explain your work clearly Advantage: Hands-on experience with LLMs (prompt engineering, LLM APIs, embeddings) Experience deploying models to production or working with MLOps tools Familiarity with the travel or hospitality industry
