Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Job description
Make an impact. Own your craft. Find your next opportunity in oral surgery! We’re a team of like-minded dentists, hygienists, and support professionals who believe great patient care starts with empowered providers. Our dentists and specialists maintain complete clinical autonomy, with a team that values their expertise and shares their commitment to exceptional care.
We’re looking for a skilled, compassionate Oral Surgeon to support our practice locations. If you enjoy collaborating with other providers, helping patients feel at ease, and making a meaningful difference through your work, we’d love to connect! Whether you’re looking to expand your clinical schedule or explore a new opportunity, let’s talk about what works for you.
Hours: Part-time, with scheduling based on practice needs and the Oral Surgeon’s availability. Oral Surgeon Responsibilities: Consulting with patients and evaluating patient histories, clinical findings, and diagnostic imaging to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Collaborating with dentists and other specialists to develop comprehensive, coordinated treatment plans.
Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, including appointment notes, clinical findings, diagnostic tests and results, and prescribed treatments. Administering local and general anesthesia, as appropriate and within the scope of applicable licensure and permits. Performing complex oral surgical procedures with precision and a commitment to patient safety.
Prescribing medications to support recovery and manage discomfort following procedures. Providing clear postoperative instructions, follow-up care, and ongoing support to patients receiving long-term treatment. Oral Surgeon Requirements: Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
Active dental licensure and any required specialty or anesthesia permits in the state of practice. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality clinical care. A warm, reassuring bedside manner that helps patients feel comfortable and confident. Excellent communication skills and an empathetic approach to patient care.
A collaborative attitude and flexibility in coordinating a part-time schedule. Ready to make room for something great? We’d love to hear from you! "We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination or harassment. We expect every member of the team to do their part to cultivate and maintain an environment where everyone has the opportunity to feel valued.
