Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA
Job description
Description AimWell Financial is looking for a seasoned Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) whose primary responsibility will be preparing tax returns for clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tax work but is looking for a more flexible and sustainable model than traditional accounting. It may be a great fit for a semi-retired professional, a parent seeking flexible scheduling, or an independent practitioner with available capacity. The workload is expected to vary as the practice develops. Initially it may involve only a handful of returns, while future demand could support a significantly larger volume. Because of this, we are seeking someone who values flexibility and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment. This position will play an important role in helping establish processes, workflows, and best practices for a new tax preparation service. Location: This role is located in St. Petersburg, FL. Highly qualified remote candidates may be considered.

Manage tax preparation workflow and deadlines across a growing client base. Review client tax documentation, identify missing information, and communicate directly with clients regarding tax-related questions and requests. Why This Role May Be Different Many tax professionals eventually reach a point where they enjoy the work but no longer enjoy the traditional public accounting model. We believe talented professionals should be able to continue doing meaningful work without sacrificing flexibility or quality of life. Whether you are semi-retired, raising a family, operating your own practice, or simply looking for a more balanced opportunity, we are open to creating a flexible arrangement that works for both parties. Our goal is to build a long-term relationship with an experienced professional who values autonomy, flexibility, and exceptional client service.
