Of the tasks listed , what percentage of time is devoted to each? The more time employees spend on a function, the more likely it is that the function is essential. Generally, include those functions that account for 10% or more of the work, i.e., key items that contribute significantly to the achievement of the job. The functions should add up to 100%.
% of time Essential Function (Yes/No) Key Responsibilities (To be completed by Supervisor) 25 Yes Performing time lapse microscopy 30 Yes Imaging using specialized microscopes including two-photon and light sheet microscopy 45 Yes Running experiments – mineralization kinetic studies 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 100% (To update total %, enter the amount of time in whole numbers (without the % symbol - e.
g., 15, 20) then highlight the total sum (e.g., 1%) at the bottom of the column and press F9. The total sum should add up to 100%.) Preferred Qualifications: Experience in preparing tissue for structural evaluation followed by imaging Identifying conditions and specimens from these conditions that need to be spectroscopically examined at a later time.
Prior knowledge running experiments systematically using Agilent plate reader and following through with experiments and the instrument when the data appear unreliable and inaccurate. Should perform experiments starting from Day
- Problem Solving Common problems solved by the employee: Take specimens and prepare them systematically into known volumes, add concentrations of different additives, and monitor changes in optical density and pH. Analyze time resolved changes to extract fluctuations in set experimental parameters Code when needed to run batch analysis on multiple specimens, multiple experimental trials, and multiple technical trials. An example will include, imaging specimens using a light and electron microscopy and spectroscopy techniques and record images. These images will be later processed that is, will be interpreted in group meetings with the help of other team members. Less frequent and more complex problems solved by the employee: Same as the example provided above. Problems/situations that are referred to this employee's supervisor: Microscope not working?
