Midland Ford Lincoln is seeking a motivated Automotive Body Technician Mentee to join our collision repair team. This is an entry-to-mid-level opportunity designed for individuals looking to grow their career in the collision repair industry.

As a Body Tech Mentee, you will work alongside experienced technicians, receive hands-on training, and develop the skills needed to perform high-quality repairs that meet manufacturer and dealership standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational experience (or technical training) who wants to advance in a high-production, professional shop environment.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of senior technicians, you will:

Assist with teardown and reassembly of vehicles

Learn and apply approved repair materials and techniques

Perform repairs to OEM standards

Communicate supplemental damage to estimators

Help measure, pull, and repair structural damage

Assist with aluminum repair processes

Perform quality checks after repairs

Maintain productivity and manage time effectively

Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment

Qualifications

0-2 years of body shop or collision repair experience preferred

Technical school training is a plus

Strong communication skills

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Team-oriented mindset

Willingness to learn and take initiative

Passion for building a long-term career in the automotive industry
