Job Description: The role of the Global WET Technology Specialist is to lead the implementation of new raw material, new process and new product in EUROPE region factory network from raw material reception to retort process. The Regional WET Technology Specialist is responsible to deploy R&D specifications needed for manufacturing of WET product on existing manufacturing standard and for new technology to achieve process specifications conformance and finished product specifications conformance .
His/her functional perimeter is Regional, including ROYAL CANIN and PETNUTRITION manufacturing network. R&D specifications stands for product specifications and process specifications including: Specifications related to raw material processing, Specifications related to products (Quality Attributes, Key Quality Attributes) Specifications related to process flow, process sequence and equipment parameters settings, Specifications related to application of food safety standard and quality control.
The Regional WET Technology Specialist is the R&D leader for WET technology of Royal Canin on EUROPE region that shares the WET technology expertise of Royal Canin with the EUROPE region PPI community. What will be your main responsibilities?
- Lead of WET INDUSTRIALIZATION pillar in EUROPE region, The Regional WET Technology Specialist supports the Industrialization process in the EUROPE region by delivering WET Technology expertise. More precisely, as R&D product and process leader of the region, the Regional WET Technology specialist will be part of following activities: Support execution of Industrial test runs needed for innovation plan deployment or portfolio transfer from a factory to another. Deliver guidance on SRC definition. Support any regional must do projects like product quality improvement, Do It Best project, Business continuity project or Sustainability project. Responsible to realize the regional IRA for successful Implementation of new raw material, new process and new product. In case of regional QUEST project, the regional WET Technology specialist may lead regional QUEST project and manage herself/himself Ideation phase, Industrialization phase and Launch phase of the QUEST project. Lead complex problem solving (troubleshooting level 2) related to raw material, product and process. She / he is in responsible to defines robust methodology and build project team and to lead investigations, follow-up test run, analyse data and set-up reports following DMAIC & 6 Sigma methodology.
- Lead WET PRODUCT & WET PROCESS CONFORMANCE in EUROPE region , The Regional WET Technology Specialist is responsible to transfer and ensure conformance of R&D specifications related to Royal Canin DRY manufacturing standard. More precisely, the Regional WET Technology Specialist will be part of following activities: Lead deployment of process specifications related to WET manufacturing standard in place and ensure conformance. Lead deployment of product specifications related to WET manufacturing standard in place and ensure conformance. Lead DRY Process Validation and DRY product Validation for new equipment and new line commissioning Support R&D specifications validation related to new raw material, to WET manufacturing standard upgrade and to new WET technology. What are we looking for? B.S. or M.S. in Science, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food) or related technology program Demonstrated industry experience as R&D engineer or Quality & Food Safety Engineer Green belt or Black belt for Lean 6-Sigma is a plus >5 years relevant experiences in food technology development, process & product scale-up and/or implementation Demonstrated Factory experience Working in a company with multicultural and international features #TBdigital
