Mechanic - Refrigerator

Refrigeration Technician Provide exemplary customer service to the Guests of the Tachi Palace Casino Resort by providing refrigeration maintenance and repair service to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the installation and repair of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems according to blueprints and engineering specifications, using knowledge of refrigeration, structural layouts, and function and design of components. Assist with pumping specified gas or fluid into systems, start systems, reads gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanisms to control level of fluid.

Must participate in on-call situations as required by departmental management. Assist with the maintenance and repair of any other company equipment as directed. Keep an inventory of equipment, repair supplies, materials and their usage as departmental policies dictates. Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner Comply with safety, health & environmental policies, procedures and regulations and ensure that they are followed with the department.

Technical School or formal technical skills training Universal Refrigerant Certification Minimum 3-5 years of refrigeration experience including operating, repairing and maintaining all types of commercial or industrial refrigeration units. Any other duties as assigned. Reports To: Supervisor Approximate Hours: Full-time
