Registration/Scheduling Representative | Weekend Package (Part-Time)

Performs a wide variety of tasks primarily related to communication and reception activities while maintaining positive patient relations. Conducts registration interviews with patients and/or their representatives in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Schedules tests and procedures for clinic and hospital and coordinates scheduling of tests and procedures to assure they meet medical necessity, patient, department and practitioner needs.

Obtains current insurance billing information and policy benefits on all patients. Completes all paperwork related to the registration process. Offers assistance regarding financial counseling using established guidelines. Is receptive to the needs of patients in such a manner as to promote a favorable public image of Clarke County Hospital.
