General Summary of Duties: The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for promoting employee satisfaction, resolving conflicts, and creating a positive employee experience.

Essential Functions

Collaborate in developing and implementing employee relations strategies and programs. Conduct investigations related to employee complaints and grievances. Maintain a review process for terminations and corrective action. Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies and procedures. Mediate conflicts and facilitate effective resolution.

Collaborate with the VP of HR to ensure compliance in all HR functions. Create and deliver training sessions on employee relations topics. Review and provide feedback on employee performance evaluations. Support recruiting efforts, including sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and partnering with hiring managers to fill open roles.

Assist with job postings, offer letters, and new hire onboarding to ensure a positive candidate experience. Serve as payroll backup, including reviewing timecards, processing payroll, and resolving pay discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner. Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour requirements.

All other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or equivalent related field experience. HRCI or SHRM-CP certification is preferred. Experience: 3+ years of Human Resources Management experience Skills: Attention to detail and a strong sense of ethics Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Commitment to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Extensive knowledge of all HR laws (ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, OSHA)
