Job Details: Job Location: Route 60

• Huntington, WV, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $12.79Hourly, Job Category: Facilities, Primary Responsibilities and Duties Cleans and sanitizes facilities. Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and maintains floors according to facility standards. Disposes of trash and recycling properly and ensures waste receptacles are emptied regularly. Follows safety guidelines, including using cleaning chemicals properly and handling hazardous materials according to regulations. Maintains outdoor areas, such as sweeping sidewalks and clearing debris. Maintains and manages supplies and facilities. Maintains and organizes cleaning supplies and equipment. Performs light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, or repairing simple facility issues. Locks and secures buildings as needed. Reports any maintenance or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Primary Attributes Professional & Technical Knowledge: Possess a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate, as well as specific knowledge of administrative processes and practices, typically learned “on the job,” or which may include a series of training sessions that would comprise a few weeks if done consecutively.

Continuing Education: Maintains current knowledge of standards of care and practices as typically acquired through continuing education. Licenses & Certifications: None required. Technical Skills: Prepares basic correspondence and simple reports in Microsoft Word. Uses Microsoft Excel to create tables and simple displays of information.

Demonstrates proficiency with all electronic systems required for the position. General Development: Functions effectively in response to workflow or ongoing direction by supervisors. Effectively selects from pre-established alternatives to resolve situations encountered on the job. Able to effectively communicate opinions drawn from conclusions using inference and logic.

Work Environment: Work is performed in a public, customer-facing, high-traffic environment. At times, work may involve working with disruptive or distressed individuals.
