Maintenance Technician

At our Womelsdorf location, we are looking for a Second Shift - Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both plant and material-handling equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a work-life balance with a 40-to-50-hour workweek, including a few Saturdays and no Sunday work. Competitive wages based on experience.
• Being part of a cross-functional team, working with manufacturing and warehouse associates to improve equipment availability and performance.
• Completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.
• Working on both plant and material handling equipment.
• Handling mechanical and electrical systems.
• Utilizing troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair equipment.

We are looking for someone with:

• 1–3 years of experience in plant maintenance, with material handling equipment experience being a plus.
• A minimum of a high school diploma (or GED/high school certification); a technical school certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not required.
• Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
• The ability to work from equipment manuals and verbal instructions.
• The ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• A dependable, self-motivated attitude, willing to learn and grow with the team and company.
• The ability to stand and walk throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
