Parts Coordinator

Central Tech Services, Inc., a commercial and industrial HVAC service company specializing in large chiller systems and central cooling plants, is looking for a Warehouse / Parts Manager to join our growing team in Sparks, MD! The Warehouse / Parts Manager oversees parts ordering, inventory control, warehouse organization, receiving, distribution, and repair quote coordination to support commercial HVAC service operations.

Responsibilities include

supplier coordination, staging materials for service and preventive maintenance, maintaining accurate records, processing returns and oil analysis samples, and delivering or picking up parts using a company vehicle. The position also provides backup service support as needed. Main Responsibilities Order parts, supplies, and materials from reliable, cost-effective sources.

Manage technician repair quotes, identify and select repair parts for HVAC equipment and chillers, obtain supplier pricing and availability, track quote status, and provide information to the Business Development team for quote preparation. Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, backorders, returns, and warranties.

Receive, inspect, label, and stage materials for the appropriate repair / maintenance jobs. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse. Operate a company vehicle to deliver materials to job sites and pick up parts from suppliers. Safely handle and move materials and obtain forklift certification if required. Prepare, document, and ship oil analysis samples as requested.

Use company computer systems, email, and inventory, purchasing, quoting, and work order applications. Provide backup service support by answering calls, taking service requests, and relaying messages. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn company software.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills and professional telephone manners. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company vehicle requirements. Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload parts and materials. Willingness to obtain forklift certification if needed.

Ability to maintain accurate records and follow company procedures and safety policies. Position Type and Expected Hours Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week). Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Work is primarily performed in a professional office and warehouse environment using standard office equipment.

Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. HVAC parts experience preferred. Basic computer application knowledge is preferred. Customer service experience preferred.
