****POSITION SUMMARY:  **** The Senior Financial Analyst provides support across multiple departments that impacts revenue and profitability across the organization.  This position plays a key role in evaluation of product profitability, investments, pricing, and other strategic decisions through the use of various analytical and reporting tools.  This role provides support across multiple departments that impact revenue and profitability across the organization. 

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform, and is not intended to be all-inclusive)

  • Analyze volume, revenue, and profit data to forecast financial outcomes of FedEx Office products
  • Perform analysis and evaluate product profitability, shipping performance and other strategic decisions through various analytical and reporting tools
  • Act as a lead within the Financial Analysis organization and develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Develop quantitative models to support business investments, pricing initiatives, programs and related projects
  • Provide analytical support for shipping performance, including a key role in setting the shipping plan and forecast
  • Analyze large amounts of data and provide recommendations based on analysis
  • Provide summaries of financial analysis to senior management and to other business partners
  • Participate in cross functional projects requiring Financial Analysis representation as they arise
  • Present data and information to senior level management across the organization as required
  • All other duties as needed or required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years of related experience with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with Business Objects preferred
  • Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring
  • For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook

  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the FedEx Office business; regular attendance and/or reporting could include regular attendance at a physical location and/or maintaining established business hours depending on the scope and nature of the position
