Finance Internship - Part-Time

This paid internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on Finance experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative environment.

The intern will work closely with the Finance department and cross-functional teams to support daily operations, finance programs, and organizational development initiatives. Assist with daily Finance operations, including administrative tasks, document organization, and file maintenance Support accounts payable processes, facilitates payments which may include validation of federal ID numbers, review purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies Contribute to Finance projects such as process improvements and data tracking Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.

Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions. Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash. Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements
