Hospice Volunteer Legacy at Home Make a difference. Share your time. Touch a life. Legacy at Home is seeking compassionate, caring volunteers to join our Hospice team. As a Hospice Volunteer, you will provide valuable support to patients and their families, offering companionship, comfort, and a listening ear during a sensitive time.

What you’ll do: Visit patients in their homes, nursing facilities, or assisted living communities Provide companionship through conversation, reading, music, or simply being present Support family members by giving them a break or emotional support Assist with light errands or administrative tasks (optional, depending on volunteer preferences) Honor and respect the dignity and beliefs of each patient Who you are: Kind, patient, and empathetic A good listener and communicator Comfortable working with individuals at end of life At least 18 years old Able to complete a short training and background check What we provide: Free, comprehensive volunteer training Ongoing support and guidance Flexible scheduling An opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community Join us in upholding Legacy at Home’s mission of providing compassionate care and honoring the dignity of every person we serve.
