A Plus Express is looking for a Class A driver for local pickup and deliveries. We have been in business for over 29 years and are locally owned and operated. Description Local pick up and deliveries within 100 mile radius of St Louis MO Monday through Friday, no weekends Daytime shift (flexible start times) Full time Job Duties and Responsibilities Pick up and deliver freight Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your truck Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip Make safety a priority at all times Equipment Single axle tractors Automatic transmission semi trucks Manual transmission semi trucks Professionally maintained, reliable and safe Pay: $19 - $22 per hour Benefits Paid time off (vacation, personal days and holidays) Matching SIMPLE Individual Retirement Account We pay for half of medical, dental, vision and life insurance Pay weekly via direct deposit into your bank account Minimum Requirements Meet all Federal Motor Carrier guidelines At least 25 years old Valid Class A license Minimum of 24 months experience driving a tractor trailer Clean driving record
