Order Picker

About the Role

As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders within our new warehouse in Berryville. Your primary focus will be to select and prepare products for shipment by carefully following order specifications and using various material handling equipment.

This position requires attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy and meet delivery deadlines, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with warehouse team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, your efforts will support the seamless operation of the supply chain and help the organization meet its logistical goals.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with order picking and filling in a warehouse environment. Ability to operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently. Familiarity with RF scan guns and RF scanners for inventory management. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items up to 70 lbs. Not afraid of heights!

Preferred Qualifications

Forklift certification or equivalent training. Previous experience with palletizing and staging orders for shipment. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices. Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

Accurately pick and fill customer orders according to specified instructions using RF scan guns and order sheets. Operate machinery safely to move products within the warehouse. Verify product quantities and quality before packing and shipping to ensure order accuracy. Maintain organized and clean work areas to promote safety and efficiency.

Assist with palletizing and staging orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Follow all safety protocols and company policies while performing daily tasks.
