We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our clinical team as an independent contractor . Collaborate with an experienced behavioral health team. Build ongoing relationships with patients and participate in their treatment and progress. Maintain a flexible, part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week . Work in an established outpatient behavioral health setting in Hyattsville, Maryland .

Your Role

As a Psychiatrist with Interdynamics, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including: Conducting comprehensive psychiatric and CON evaluations . Evaluating patients and establishing appropriate diagnoses. Developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical, emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral needs.

Providing psychotherapy and medication management, as clinically appropriate. Monitoring treatment response, evaluating medication effectiveness and side effects, and making adjustments when indicated. Consulting and collaborating with patients, families, and members of the treatment team. Providing clinical guidance and contributing to coordinated, patient-centered care.

Maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation. Staying current with developments in psychiatry, behavioral health, and evidence-based treatment through continuing education and professional development. What We’re Looking For We are looking for a psychiatrist who brings substantial clinical experience, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to patient care.

Required qualifications: Active Maryland medical license in good standing. 10+ years of experience practicing psychiatry . Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary behavioral health professionals.

Commitment to compassionate, ethical, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care. Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
