Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our General and Specialty Cardiology team in Tacoma. In this role, you’ll help create a smooth and positive experience for patients by coordinating appointments, maintaining organized provider schedules, answering patient questions, and serving as a connection between patients, providers, and other departments.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule patient appointments Maintain organized provider schedules based on clinic and provider preferences Assist patients with scheduling questions and general inquiries Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and other departments Review and manage scheduling needs to help ensure patients are seen in a timely manner Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable policies and procedures Provide coverage at other clinic locations as needed Complete other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Required: At least 2 years of customer service experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred: At least 1 year of healthcare experience Experience with patient scheduling or working in a medical office Familiarity with electronic medical records, including Epic Benefits Competitive hourly pay of $21.
