D365 CRM Test Analyst

Fixed Term Contract until 30 June 2027| Hybrid Sydney CBD | Dynamics 365 Help ensure our Dynamics 365 platform delivers reliable, high-quality experiences for our people and customers. We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Test Analyst to take ownership of manual testing across our Dynamics 365 CRM platform, Power Platform and connected systems.
Working within a collaborative Agile delivery team, you’ll be involved from early requirements and solution discussions through to testing, defect resolution, UAT and release. You’ll translate business requirements and user journeys into practical, risk-based testing that gives the team confidence to release. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working autonomously and partnering closely with developers, product stakeholders, business SMEs and automation specialists.
Key activities: Plan, design and execute manual testing across Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform and integrated systems Develop risk-based test scenarios and cases covering functional, regression, integration, exploratory, end-to-end and smoke testing Test model-driven applications, forms, views, business rules, workflows, security roles, plugins, APIs and integrations Translate business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria into meaningful test coverage Identify, document and manage defects through investigation, retesting and resolution Use Azure DevOps Test Plans and Boards to maintain test execution, defect and requirements traceability Support business SMEs through User Acceptance Testing, including scenario preparation, test data and issue triage Provide clear advice on quality risks, test coverage and release readiness Support release testing, post-deployment verification and urgent fixes Work alongside automation specialists to identify stable, high-value scenarios for future automation Champion a strong quality mindset and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle Skills and experience required: You’ll be an experienced manual Test Analyst who understands that quality is more than executing test cases.
You’ll be comfortable questioning requirements, identifying risk and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver the right outcome. Strong hands-on experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and/or Power Platform Experience testing complex business processes, integrations, data flows and role-based access Strong manual test design skills and a practical understanding of risk-based testing Experience across functional, integration, regression, exploratory, end-to-end and UAT testing Strong defect management and investigation skills Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, Boards and work items, or comparable tools The ability to test APIs and integrations, with exposure to tools such as Postman Confidence working autonomously within a small Agile delivery team Strong communication skills and the ability to explain quality risks and recommendations clearly A collaborative approach and genuine commitment to shared ownership of quality Experience in a regulated or data-sensitive environment, Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform certifications or ISTQB certification would be an advantage.
