IBS Customer Service Specialist I

Primary Goal: Interstate Billing Service is an industry leader in managing commercial accounts receivable for the trucking, automotive, and aftermarket parts industries. The Customer Service Specialist will help create a premier accounts receivable experience by providing exceptional service through relationship building, effective communication, and collaboration with our customers, clients, and team members.

Primary role objectives: Actively listens Initiates proactive conversations Communicates effectively through verbal and written correspondence Collaborates with customers, clients, and team members Interacts with all parties in a positive manner Researches account discrepancies Investigates delinquent accounts to identify the cause of delayed payment Confirms legitimacy of invoices Facilitates dispute resolution Maintains accurate account records Engages management on changes in pay history, ability to pay, and willingness to pay Uses multiple web-based applications Other duties as assigned We are looking for Ideal Team Players who are: Lifelong learners Highly adaptable Open-minded Customer-centric Optimistic Dependable Team-focused Working Conditions: Generally good, with little exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, dust or other adverse factors.
