Monitoring Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Summary This role is dedicated to overseeing the effectiveness of programs by systematically tracking performance metrics, gathering essential data, evaluating outcomes, and facilitating organizational growth through informed learning. The position plays a critical part in ensuring that strategic goals are met and that the organization continuously improves based on evidence-based insights.

Responsibilities

Establish and monitor key performance indicators for various programs. Gather and interpret program-related data to inform decision-making. Execute on-site monitoring visits and conduct thorough assessments. Manage and update monitoring and evaluation databases and associated records. Draft comprehensive reports on monitoring activities and program performance.

Monitor progress against set targets and evaluate final outcomes. Record key insights, lessons learned, and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

Proven ability to develop and track relevant program indicators. Strong skills in collecting and analyzing program data. Experience conducting field monitoring visits and assessments. Proficiency in maintaining M&E databases and managing records. Capability to prepare detailed monitoring and performance reports. Track record of monitoring program targets and evaluating outcomes.

Skill in documenting lessons learned and formulating recommendations.
