Position Summary
The Systems Administrator provides foundational technical support and system administration for client environments, focusing on routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and accurate ticket handling. The role is an entry-to-intermediate step in the technical career path, with strong emphasis on learning and adherence to standards.
Key Responsibilities

Handle tickets requiring basic to intermediate troubleshooting of desktops, peripherals, user accounts, and standard applications.

Perform routine admin tasks such as user provisioning, mailbox/group changes, printer setup, and basic network configuration under defined procedures.

Monitor alerts and follow runbooks to triage issues, remediate where possible, or escalate appropriately.

Keep tickets well-documented with clear notes and client communication.

Assist with project tasks such as workstation deployments and basic hardware swaps.
Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent IT support experience.

Basic understanding of Windows, M365, and networking fundamentals.

Experience with ticketing and remote support tools preferred.

Ability to follow standard procedures and escalation paths.
Soft Skills:

Strong customer service skills and professional phone/email presence.

Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.

Good organization and attention to detail in documentation and follow-through.

Ability to remain calm and empathetic under pressure.

Team-oriented, willing to assist peers and take feedback.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

1-3 years of IT support experience.

CompTIA A+ or similar entry-level certification.

MSP or multi-client environment experience.
