Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist

• Orange, CA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $73000.00 - $80000.00Salary, Purpose of Position: The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for implementation and management of several cross channel digital Marketing initiatives for the Word & Brown Companies. Core job functions will include the coordination and execution of email marketing campaigns, website content updates, social media content management, website analytics reporting and website maintenance tasks.

Essential Functions

Execute email marketing campaign using email marketing software and related tools while working to increase open rates and content effectiveness. Provide content development, creative development, approvals and execution for web maintenance projects and digital marketing campaigns as needed. Utilize WordPress CMS platform to update website assets and content.

Edit and code email marketing assets for campaign deployment using Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver for email platform deployment (Act-On, i. Contact) Prepare and present digital analytics reports highlighting site key performance indicators and overall digital channel performance. Manage social media content using social media management software.

Utilize marketing automation tools to implement data-driven marketing campaigns Manage and priotize enterprise website project and site maintenance tasks Implement SEO, PPC and display campaign best practices. Support Digital and UI/UX teams overarching goal to optimize digital marketing campaigns to increase site traffic, maximize conversion rates and deliver outstanding user experiences.

On-site regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job. Performs other business tasks or functions as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: 5+ years of experience coding HTML emails for marketing release using email platforms such as Exact Target, Strong View, Vertical Response, i. Contact or other. 5+ years of experience with web content editing, SEO, or website production preferred. Knowledge of Sprout Social, Hoot.

Suite, Radian6, or similar social media tools. Strong understanding of digital media platforms including websites, blogs, and enterprise content management systems (CMS) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop. Some experience thriving in active, collaborative team environments 5+ years of experience managing or optimizing paid search, display advertising or content marketing campaigns.

Qualified candidates must have some experience with SEO, web analytics and social media. Previous digital project management experience is a strong plus. Previous digital agency or B2B/B2C marketing experience is also a plus. Educational Requirements: BS or BA degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields.

Or equivalent work experience. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasional standing and walking. Must have adequate hearing for phone work. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment.

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. Working environment is stable and noise level is moderate.
