VP, Enterprise Risk Management Hybrid | San Diego, CA Compensation: $161,000 - $205,000 annually Actual compensation within this range will be determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and other job-related considerations permitted by law. As an VP, Enterprise Risk Management , you won't just be identifying risks.

You'll help shape how Mission Fed grows, innovates, and navigates the future. Think of yourself as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. You'll work closely with executives to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges before they happen, and help the organization make smart, confident decisions. What You'll Do

As a subject matter expert, you'll help leadership understand where the organization faces risk and where opportunities exist, ensuring Mission Fed can continue growing responsibly and successfully. It’s all about teamwork. You'll regularly collaborate with senior leaders and executive committees, providing insights that influence important business decisions and long-term strategy.

Being a problem solver and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves! Whether it's navigating regulatory changes, identifying emerging risks, or improving business processes, you'll tackle meaningful challenges that have real organizational impact. Bring a forward-thinking perspective since you'll lead initiatives that improve how Mission Fed manages risk, strengthens governance, and makes decisions across the business.

What You'll Bring

10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk, audit, compliance, legal, or a related function within a regulated financial environment Strong track record leading enterprise risk assessments and advising senior leadership Experience influencing cross-functional initiatives and operating independently in complex environments Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus Relevant professional certification required (RIMS-CRMP preferred; FRM, PRM, CRCM, CRM, or similar accepted) Credit union or financial services experience strongly preferred What We Offer A great work environment – our Team Members say so – we’ve won Top Workplaces 5 years including 2026!
