Journeyman Meter Technician

Performs assigned projects, procedures, or tasks at a level of independent expertise, involving the installation, calibration, testing, inspection, repair and maintenance of all types and kinds of power quality instruments, watthour meters, and revenue associated metering and meter communications equipment. Also performs distribution meter programming, testing, and installation on downline member systems upon request.

Directs the activities of assigned Meter Apprentices in order to maintain effective and reliable metering on the distribution substation and BES Transmission systems.
