Finisher Grinder

Immediately hiring a Welding Finisher Grinder for a fabrication shop in San Antonio. The Finisher Grinder will be responsible for finishing, smoothing, and polishing stainless-steel surfaces following sanitary guidelines. Please call/text 210-664-2680. Pay is up to $25/hr. depending on experience Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm (OT based on production) Duties: Inspect finished parts for defects, imperfections, and adherence to NSF specifications.

Remove welds, burrs, and excess material from stainless steel parts to achieve the desired finish. Operate grinding machines, power tools, and hand tools to grind, smooth, and polish stainless steel surfaces. Prepare stainless steel surfaces for welding, painting, or other finishing processes.

Requirements

Previous experience as a grinder, finisher, or similar role in a stainless-steel fabrication shop. Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled (open-air) shop. Familiarity with various grinding techniques and equipment. Please call/text 210-664-2680
