Production Coordinator
Job description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Coordinator to join our label & package company. In this role, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end flow of orders through our facility. This dynamic & dual-function role involves creating and managing the daily production schedule while simultaneously ensuring all raw materials, such as specialized substrates, adhesives, inks, and tooling—are purchased and available just-in-time.

Procurement & Inventory Control Strategic Sourcing: Purchase paper stocks, films, foils, and inks based on specific job requirements and historical usage. Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts and manage "Safety Stock" levels for high-use materials to prevent stockouts.
Tooling Procurement: Coordinate the ordering of custom dies, plates, and cylinders required for specific label designs. Coordination & Reporting Data Development: Develop relevant performance metrics (KPIs) to track production efficiency, procurement costs, and schedule attainment. Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Reporting: Monitor ongoing performance trends and issue comprehensive monthly reports to the management team.
ERP Management: Maintain data integrity within the ERP/MRP system to ensure reporting accuracy. General Operations Other Duties: Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned by management to support the facility's goals.
