Job Title: Customs Assistant (Customs Clearance Department) Location: Spata, Greece Do you have the right stuff to join us as a Customs Assistant as part of our dynamic Customs Clearance Department in Greece? If your answer is “Yes!”, we want to hear from you. If appointed, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient customs clearance of import, export, and transit shipments , contributing to high service delivery standards and smooth operational flow.
Key responsibilities include
Processing and managing customs clearance documentation accurately and efficiently Coordination of import, export, and transit clearance procedures with customs authorities Liaison with customs officers and departments to ensure timely resolution of operational issues Supporting air freight operations and internal departments (Sales, Operations, Accounts) What we’re looking for 2-3 years’ experience in customs clearance and/or import/export operations Knowledge of customs formalities and relevant regulations Intermediate level of English language skills Proficiency in MS Office applications Strong customer focus and service orientation Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good coordination and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing operational needs Effective teamwork and collaboration Strong communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer Opportunity to work in a leading global logistics organization Collaborative team environment Please note that as well as working to recruit staff members via GAC channels, GAC does use third-party recruiters to recruit for specific positions within the Group.
