Description Compensation: Non-exempt/hourly The standard wage range for this role is $27.66 to $32.51 per hour It may be possible to earn more over time up to $37.36 per hour Currently offering a Sign-On Bonus of $2,000 prorated by Full-time Equivalency (FTE) and subject to 2-year payback clause Work Schedule: Full time (40 hours per week) Schedules are four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days Workdays are Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays Day shifts only Who We Are Unity Care NW is a private, non-profit, federally qualified health center that has been proudly and successfully serving the greater Whatcom County area since 1982.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant provides and coordinates medical care in an outpatient setting at either our Bellingham or Ferndale clinic following a patient-centered, primary care model including the following tasks: Completes patient rooming process. Completes patient testing and procedures following provider orders/standing orders.

Performs desktop management and computer tasks. Performs immunizations and injections. Performs general clinical operation duties. Precepts new employees and coaches MA Apprentices.
