Election Observer

Overview

This is a volunteer position and any amount of time is appreciated. An election observer, often referred to as a "poll watcher," is an individual authorized to monitor various stages of the electoral process to ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to legal protocols. In summary, election observers serve as impartial witnesses to the electoral process, helping to promote transparency and public confidence in the outcomes of elections.

Reporting Irregularities: If observers notice any discrepancies or violations of election laws, they are responsible for reporting these issues to the appropriate election officials or authorities for further investigation.

Observers are required to undergo training provided by the County and must adhere to a code of conduct to ensure that their presence does not disrupt the electoral process.
