About the Role

The Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors at our corporate facility. This position involves performing a variety of janitorial duties that ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of indoor (and outdoor where requested) spaces. The Cleaner will be responsible for floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

Additionally, the role requires adherence to safety procedures while operating machinery and using cleaning chemicals. Ultimately, the Cleaner contributes to the overall aesthetic and functional quality of the workplace, promoting a positive atmosphere for productivity. This position requires weekly floor buffing and offers additional hours dedicated to floor maintenance.

Previous experience operating floor buffing equipment is required Location(s) & Compensation: 6076- Eagle Group-DE.: Pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Site is Cleaned 5 days per week, Mondays

• Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Fridays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. ( NO SATURDAY OR SUNDAY OR MONDAY WORK PERMITTED).

Minimum Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the United States High school diploma or equivalent. Reliable Transportation Preferred Qualifications: Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to operate floor buffing equipment safely and effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Duties: Cleaning offices, lunchroom / Breakroom, restrooms

• Sweep, mop, and maintain hard surface floors. Vacuum carpeted areas as required. Dust desks, furniture, windowsills, ledges, and other surfaces. Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, and workspaces. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Remove fingerprints, smudges, and marks from glass doors, windows, and other glass surfaces. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, refill dispensers Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly Bend, stretch, twist, reach above head, squat, walk and stand for extended periods of time Climb stairs Skills: The required skills for this position, such as janitorial duties and floor care, are essential for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Daily tasks will involve using various cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure all areas are hygienic and presentable. Knowledge of safety procedures is crucial when operating machinery, ensuring that all tasks are performed without risk to oneself or others.
