Manager, Overseas Agency Sales

Job Responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships within WCA and other global freight forwarder networks. Represent the company at international agent conferences and networking events. Promote the company as a preferred destination / origin agent for inbound, outbound, and cross-trade business. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new strategic overseas agents aligned with trade lane strategy.

Generate and develop agency-driven sales opportunities and follow up on RFQs and enquiries. Drive balanced, two-way cargo flows and manage trade lane performance. Work with pricing and operations teams to ensure competitive yet sustainable rate structures. Ensure compliance with global agent network rules, payment protection policies, and dispute protocols.

Act as key escalation point for agent service, commercial, and dispute-related issues. Job Requirements Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Maritime or related discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant shipping experience. Highly numerate with good analytical thinking and quantitative skills. Self-driven with ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) & people management. Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership. Willing to Travel when required. Appointment will commensurate with experience.
