Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Schedule

Position Type: Local Position (Housing is NOT provided)

• Candidates must reside in Freeport, Brunswick, or Portland, MAINE (or immediate surrounding areas)

• Reliable transportation or access to METRO Breez bus service to 5 Park St, Freeport is required.

We're looking for dependable and hardworking Dishwashers to join our kitchen team! If you are reliable, work well in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in maintaining clean and safe kitchen operations, this is a great opportunity for you.

Please Note:This is alocal hiring opportunity. Candidates must have their own reliable transportation and housing, ashousing is not provided.

What You'll Do

• Operate and maintain industrial dishwasher machines efficiently
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, and empty trash and recycling bins regularly
• Assist kitchen staff with basic dish prep and kitchen organization as needed
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and follow all food safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with culinary and service teams during peak rush hours

What We're Looking For

• Local candidates preferred (must reside within commuting distance)
• Dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate)
• Reliable transportation to and from work is mandatory
• Dependable, punctual, and hard-working
• Able to work independently and stay on task
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a warm, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to stand, and able to lift up to 40-50 lbs (baskets, pots, trash bags)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
