If interested,please share your CV at preeti.t@technopride.co.uk Senior Business Analyst – Transport / Rail Domain (EAM Focus) Location: Dublin, Ireland Industry: Rail / Transport Experience Level: Senior Consultant Primary Objectives of the Role The Business Analyst will: Elicit and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, site visits, task and workflow analysis.
Analyse new initiatives assigned by the PMO and produce cost-benefit analysis documents, including gathering and validating estimates. Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and translate high-level concepts into detailed functional requirements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyse information needs and deliver key artefacts including: Project Request Forms Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) Use Cases Manage the end-to-end requirements lifecycle including elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and governance.
Drive clarity in ambiguous environments and support business process change initiatives. Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and quality frameworks. Required Skillset & Experience Essential Requirements Strong consultancy background within the Transport / Rail industry. Experience advising clients on operational improvement, cost reduction, simplification, and automation.
Experience in requirements gathering and process design within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems such as: SAP Maximo Oracle Infor Senior stakeholder management experience. Experience leading discovery sessions and Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) workshops. Proficiency in storyboarding and vision alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
Experience with SIPOC documentation and BPMN 2.0 process modelling (Visio, ARIS). Strong knowledge of: Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) notation Business Process Modelling & Notation (BPMN 2.0) Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments. Ability to explain complex technical/system constraints to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable / Advanced Capabilities Experience with wireframing and prototype design (Adobe, Figma). Experience compiling and scoring RFQs/RFPs. Strong understanding of: Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) Test-Driven Development (TDD) UX/UI principles and early lifecycle adoption Experience with mind-mapping techniques to facilitate workshops.
Understanding of grant-funded models. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across all organisational levels. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
