Front Desk Receptionist (ASC) PRN

JOB TITLE: Receptionist

SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 7-3:30pm, occasional Saturday

SALARY RANGE: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on skill and experience level.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:  Greets patients and visitors. Completes the registration process for all patients scheduled for surgery. Registration includes review of procedure, obtaining insurance information and collection of copay and/or deductibles on the day of surgery.

Responsibilities

includes preparing charts prior to the day of surgery to include all forms related to the specific type of surgical procedure being performed. Basic knowledge of medical terminology required. Understanding of medical claims billing a plus.
