Yard Hostler

NON-CDL Yard Hostler Location: 350 N Wolf Rd, Mount Prospect, IL Schedule: 3:00 PM–9:00 PM Pay: $27.00/hour Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Non-CDL Yard Hostler to safely and efficiently move trailers and equipment around our facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment.

Responsibilities

Move and position trailers within the yard and loading areas. Safely back trailers into designated spaces and dock areas. Perform yard checks and help maintain an organized yard. Communicate effectively with warehouse and transportation personnel. Follow all company safety procedures and yard rules. Conduct basic equipment and trailer inspections.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Previous yard hostler, yard driver, trailer jockey, or similar experience preferred. Non-CDL position. 1 year experience Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely maneuver trailers in a busy yard environment. Strong attention to safety and detail.

Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
