About the Role

As a Senior Equipment Sustaining Engineer, you will be responsible for sustaining ASM and Quick equipment to ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency within semiconductor assembly manufacturing. You will play a key role in supporting production, resolving equipment issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

Ensure optimum performance and reliability of ASM and Quick equipment. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment-related issues. Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Monitor and improve equipment KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR. Support equipment qualifications, validation, and new product introductions (NPI).

Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and suppliers to resolve technical issues. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

What You Will Need

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering. Must Have Hands-on experience supporting ASM and/or Quick equipment. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Experience in equipment sustaining within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, 8D, and CAPA methodologies. Experience in equipment qualification and validation activities. Good to Have Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience with MES, Factory Automation, or Industry 4.0 applications. Knowledge of automation systems and equipment upgrades Talent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
