Surgical Assistant

Description Position Summary: A well-established, busy specialty office is looking for a highly motivated RDA to join or team. Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: Current RDA license Valid California X-ray license Current BLS certification Takes pride in attention to detail Punctual and reliable on a daily basis Friendly and outgoing personality, with both patients and fellow staff Ability to commute and work in both Napa and Sonoma locations Minimum of 1 year dental assisting experience Qualifications not necessary but a plus: Previous oral surgery experience OMSA certificate Dental Anesthesia Assistant Permit (through Dental Board of CA) Emergency procedures - identification and treatment Familiar with dental/oral surgery software

• DSN preferred Computer savvy, able to type 35 wpm Ability to read, speak, and write Spanish fluently and clearly Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Assisting in surgical procedures, both local and IV sedation Sterilization and tray set-ups Taking and monitoring vital signs/ patient recovery Knowledge of medical emergency protocol Assisting in consultations and post-ops Lab/ 3D printing work Organizing and restocking supplies and rooms as needed Other duties as needed shared amongst the assistants Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance We are looking for someone who can work 40 hours per week, but may need to work overtime occasionally due to the nature of our business.
