About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Support Associate to support our sales team and help deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with customers, building relationships, staying organized, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You will play a critical role in supporting sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, quote followups, and helping our external sales representatives succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide ongoing support for existing customer accounts and assist with new customer inquiries Respond to customer questions, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner Partner with Sales team members on custom, modified, or specialized product opportunities Communicate updates regarding open quotes, customer requests, and sales opportunities Maintain accurate customer records, notes, and activity updates within CRM and ERP systems Contact external Welker sales representatives to strengthen relationships, identify product training needs, and support revenue growth initiatives Coordinate training opportunities and communicate new product information to representative partners Monitor sales opportunities and provide follow-up support to help advance opportunities through the sales process Support additional sales and administrative activities as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Customer-focused mindset with a positive, professional attitude Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service, inside sales, sales support, or administrative experience Experience working with CRM or ERP systems Manufacturing, industrial, oil and gas, or technical product experience Experience working with external sales representatives or distributor networks Why Join Welker?
