Packer and Sorter, Organizer and Estate Sale Preparation Team Member

We help seniors and non-seniors make smooth and stress-free transitions from one living situation to another. Must like old folks. JOB DESCRIPTION (including, but not limited to) Sorting, organizing, and packing household goods to be moved or sold Staging and preparing homes for estate sales and online auctions Researching merchandise to determine fair market value Moving supplies and packed boxes within client’s home Safely pack and unpack goods Interacting with clients, their families, and other coworkers Must be able to stand during shift, sometimes long periods of time; must be able to bend, lift up to 30lbs, hang items at or above 4 feet, and climb stairs Must be able to carry supplies, items, and move boxes (under 25lbs) to and from vehicles JOB REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift up to 30lbs May need to move small pieces of furniture on some shifts Must have a valid driver's license and reliable source of transportation Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time Must have access to a computer / smart phone /tablet for scheduling, time-keeping and project management apps AVAILABILITY AND HOURS Please include your availability when applying The shifts run Monday through Friday, with some Saturday shifts required Part-time hours; every job is different and requires a different number of hours; we cannot guarantee set hours BENEFITS Opportunities for growth within your role Flexible scheduling; no two jobs are the same Help older adults, disabled individuals, and families that cannot take care of these projects on their own Make an impact in your local community Bonuses based on individual and company performance YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU Believe everyone deserves compassion, grace, and respect Are a great listener and communicator, and are curious but never judgmental Enjoy working with the elderly and believe all people matter Caring Transitions of North Dallas Suburbs is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
